Each year, I, along with my brothers and nephews, enjoy a day of salmon fishing with Randy and we keep coming back. Why? Because Randy always delivers the goods. He knows where the fish are located and we always come away with a full cooler! In 2022, we had a 45 minute stretch of pure excitement - at least one fish on, while netting a second, only to have a third line going off. It was an incredible stretch of time. Most of all, Randy is easy going and allows us to have as much fun as we want - many times, contributing to the fun, while waiting for the next fish! Highly recommend Randy - you will not be disappointed.

I'.ve been fishing with Randy on our annual charter for over 20 years and honestly can share that Randy's experience and knowledge of the salmon/trout fishery in Lake Ontario is top notch! I cannot think of one trip where we did not catch fish! Randy's meticulous record keeping of each fish caught allows for a library of knowledge that can be referenced to strategize where to start fishing based on the species sought and his historical data on any given day.Safety is also top notch with Randy as his experience with the Lake as well as understanding the weather patterns allows for tough decisions to be made if a charter should proceed or not due to the weather. We have had to rebook on a few occasions and while disappointed, it is appreciated that safety is the top consideration for his customers and not taking the charter out under any condition.Give Randy and Reddog Sportfishing a try and you will not be disappointed!

I’ve studied this professional over the years, his behavior, his methods and his successes. In my opinion, he’s one the best, if not the best charter skipper on any or all of the Great Lakes.
Besides putting fish on ice for his customers, I’ve never come across another angler that keeps a more accurate record on just about every trip he’s made out on the lake and every fish he’s caught.
